Early morning breakfast – Drive to Lachung – Nearly after approximately 96 kilometers one will reach Chungthang – There will be stop nearby for Lunch or Refreshment – Next one has to drive to approximately 35 kilometers from Chungthang – It is a drive of nearly 06 hours – Reach Lachung late afternoon / early evening – The snow capped peaks of the Himalayan range, the Shingbha wild life sanctuary, Yumthang, Katao and Yumeysomdong are the major attraction – It’s a valley surrounded by gigantic and humbling mountains – Spring and Autumn the flowers bloom hence called the valley of flowers – Primulae and many other Alpine Flowers  are  in full bloom – In fact, from the village cradled between stern, tall rock faces standing like guards one can enjoy only the snow peaked hamlet – The road leads extends up to the Tibetan Plateau – It almost like this town was hidden from the outside – Check into a hotel – Welcome Tea – Evening free to stroll and visit the Lepcha Village – Stroll to the local monastery is recommended to guest  Overnight stay at Hotel at Lachung.

Early morning breakfast – After  breakfast  drive towards  Yumthang situated at an elevation of nearly  11800 feet – It is approximately 26 kilometers and is nearly 01½ hour’s drive – On the way back one  can visit  the famous  hot  spring which is known for its curative properties of skin diseases – Yumthang  is a  valley near the river Lachung Chu surrounded  by  mountains where  the  tree line  ends – In spring the  valley  erupts  in riots  of  colors as Primulae, Rhododendrons and many other Alpine flowers in full bloom along with snow covered valley except in autumn – During winter Yumthang is somber  with snow all around and the snow clad mountains adding to the beauty – Yumesamdong (Zero Point) is optional tour – Return to Lachung for lunch – After lunch drive to Gangtok – It is approximately  130 kilometers and is nearly 05 to 06 hours drive by rough road – Reach Gangtok & Check into hotel –  Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center – Over Night stay at Gangtok.

Morning breakfast-After breakfast drive for the city tour of Gangtok –Visit to Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa),White Hall, Flower Show, Botanical Garden Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Tashi View Point, Banjhakri Falls, one of the finest falls close to Gangtok, etc – Back to hotel – Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center – There are few discotheques in Gangtok to spend time – Over Night stay at Gangtok.
