Sar Pass Trek 4N/5D
Day 1 – Kasol to Grahan Village (2,150m/7,053ft)
Drive from Kasol to Barshaini, the starting point of the trek. Begin the trek from Barshaini and hike towards Grahan Village. The trail passes through dense forests and scenic landscapes. Reach Grahan Village and set up the campsite.
Overnight stay in tents
Day 2 – Grahan Village to Min Thach (3,000m/9,842ft)
Trek from Grahan Village to Min Thach, which takes approximately 5-6 hours. Ascend through the forest trails and cross several streams. Enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and valleys. Set up the camp at Min Thach and relax for the evening.
Overnight stay in tents.
Day 3 – Min Thach to Nagaru (3,800m/12,467ft)
Continue trekking from Min Thach to Nagaru. The trail involves steep ascents and offers breathtaking views. Reach Nagaru, which is the highest campsite of the Sar Pass Trek. Enjoy the stunning sunset views from Nagaru.
Overnight stay in tents.
Day 4 – Nagaru to Biskeri Thach via Sar Pass (4,220m/13,845ft)
Start early in the morning for the most challenging day of the trek. Ascend towards the Sar Pass, crossing snowfields and steep sections. Reach the top of Sar Pass and relish the stunning views. Descend towards Biskeri Thach, which is a beautiful campsite surrounded by meadows.
Overnight stay in tents.
Day 5 – Biskeri Thach to Barshaini and Departure
Trek from Biskeri Thach to Barshaini, the endpoint of the trek. Descend through the scenic landscapes and forests. Reach Barshaini and conclude the trek. Departure from Barshaini or transfer to Kasol for onward journey.
