Start by going to the well-known glaciated lake, Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, which was used by Buddhist monks to prophesy the future based on its shifting colours.
You will then go to the famed Baba Mandir shrine, where it is said that every soldier is shielded by the spirit of Baba in the hostile, high-altitude Eastern Himalayas.
Later, for an additional fee, you can also visit Nathula Pass, one of the most significant passes on the India-China border (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
Later, make your way back to Gangtok and spend the night there.

Prepare for your transports to Lachen, a charming village in North Sikkim, and board them.
As you travel along the North Sikkim Highway, you will pass a variety of minor waterfalls.
The scenic Chungthang town, located close to Kanchenjunga National Park, where the confluence of the Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu rivers can be seen, is traversed on the route to Lachen.

Wake up to the view of the snow-capped mountains and have a full breakfast (while staying there or while travelling there, depending on when you depart).
Visit the glistening Gurudongmar Lake first thing in the morning; it is the Highest Altitude Accessible Lake and was named for Guru Padmasambhava, who is thought to have been through this area when visiting Tibet.
The lake is a significant source of the Teesta River and is surrounded by snow-covered mountains.
Take some time to take in the lake’s hues before setting out on your return trip to Lachen, where lunch will be served.
Next, take to the roads as you begin your trek to Lachung, one of Sikkim’s most picturesque towns.

You’ll cross the Bhim Nala waterfalls, one of Sikkim’s tallest waterfalls, on the way.
If you have the time, visit the sacred rock in Chungthang that features Guru Padmasambhava’s footprint.
Arrive at Lachung, then have dinner.

After an early breakfast, set off to visit Sikkim’s Yumthang Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers, after waking up to the sound of a yak’s bell.
At an elevation of 11,800 feet above sea level, this valley is home to vivid primula, rhododendron, and other alpine flowers.
Visit Yumthang Valley’s hot springs, which are thought to have therapeutic qualities, on the way home.
After sightseeing, go back to Lachung and enjoy lunch.
Later, begin your journey back to Gangtok, where you will check into the hotel as soon as you get there.
