Phuentsholing, which is close to the country’s border with Bhutan, may be reached after a scenic ride of 5 to 6 hours.
You will check into a hotel when you get there for the night.
We have a delicious breakfast to start the day in the stunning nation of Bhutan before moving on to the immigration office to do the necessary paperwork.
The entire process, including providing the ID evidence and biometrics, takes a few hours.
After finishing it, we’d have ample time to explore the charming town of Phuentsholing and be amazed by the striking contrast between the two cities situated on either side of the Bhutan Gate.
For the evening, we retire to our hotel and get ready for an early start the next day.
The day starts with a hearty breakfast before setting out towards Thimpu.
We will float across the magnificent scenery and enhancing ambiance, making the journey more appealing and comfortable.
The amount of time spent driving will fluctuate from 4-5 hours.
We stop in Thimpu and spend the night in a motel.
Prepare to kill the roving beast and explore the largely uncharted territory.
This is Bhutan’s glittering capital city, full of bustling little markets and revered monks.
The monasteries Changangkha Lhakhang and Zangthoperi Lhakhang, which are full with Buddhist chants and vibrations and provide a peaceful perspective of the Thimphu valley, will be included in the visits.
The vibrant Thimpu will provide you with a wide variety of retail options, a rich textile culture, and a history museum to help you better understand the local way of life.
For the eyes to admire and the heart to pray, it houses the largest Buddha statue in the world.
After the touching exploration, we will overnight rest in the hotel.
The riders will go to Punakha over the course of two to three hours while having fun and making the adventure even more special.
Your thoughts will be mesmerised by the captivating beauty.
We will be passing over the well-known Dochula Pass, where 108 memorial stupas honour their fallen soldiers.
The natives hold it in the highest regard. We’ll then visit the Punakha Dzong, known for its distinctive Bhutanese architecture.
We stop in Punakha for the night.
Resuming our positive energy-infused adventure, we are moving to a place named Paro.
Paro Dzong, a calm but hardy and rough fort, is a delight for the eyes linked with mountains.
Next, we’ll go to the historic TaZing, which now houses the National Museum, to learn more about Bhutan’s history and culture.
After finishing here, we pay respects at Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples.
After all the tours, we arrive at our motels for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we set out on our day’s journey through the picturesque countryside and golden rice fields.
Before the route ends in a gorgeous pine forest, it progressively ascends while making turns and revealing small homes.
From here, we begin our ascent to the renowned Taktsang or Tigers Nest Monastery.
It appears to be attached to the vertical rock with some sort of miraculous glue.
As you get closer, you’ll see rocky terrain and dusty woodland trails; the final 700 stairs bring this lovely walk to an end.One forgets all of their fatigue due to the tranquilly and beauty of the location.
After our five-hour trek, we’ll visit the magnificent Kichu Lhakhang, which is also Bhutan’s oldest temple.
We have our happy moments in the Paro valley in the evening before going to bed.
Today, we bid Bhutan by and head back to Siliguri.
After an unforgettable ride over stunning mountains and mesmerising natural beauty, we arrive in Siliguri, close to the border between India and Bhutan.
We stay the night at the motel to recharge our batteries.
It’s never easy to say goodbye to an adrenaline-filled vacation, but on the plus side, we can always aspire for a return.
Let’s have faith!
