Kerala travel is prepared to launch a number of microsites as part of its significant effort to boost pilgrimage travel. These microsites aim to highlight the great importance of the state’s major religious sites in addition to showing the rich legacy of the state.
One of these microsites stands out in particular since it is dedicated to the well-known Sabarimala shrine and is intended to serve a multilingual audience by providing content in Hindi, English, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.
This hill shrine microsite, which is located in the Pathanamthitta area, aims to be a comprehensive resource for pilgrims who go to great lengths to walk to the Ayyappa temple each year. Its main goal is to improve the pilgrimage experience as a whole and make these travellers’ travels easier and more planned.
In addition to offering thorough details on routes, the redesigned website will include insightful information about nearby accommodations and modes of transit.
Furthermore, it will be an invaluable resource for the most recent information on Sabarimala darshan, providing additional details on the unique topography of the hill shrine and its deeply ingrained cultural customs. Prospective pilgrims will particularly benefit from this, as it will make itinerary planning easier for them.
Following agreement from the appropriate working group, the Kerala Tourism Department has set aside a large amount of INR 61.36 lakh for the establishment and upkeep of the Sabarimala microsite.
