According to sources, the safari, which would include two female lions from Tripitaka and one from Lakota’s Jaipur Zoo, is set to begin in the first week of January 2019. Construction of a 20-acre perimeter and the installation of night shelters are almost finished.

The park’s director, Kama Sarky, gave details about the upcoming project, stating that two pairs of Asiatic lions from zoos in Jaipur and Tripitaka will be introduced. For this reason, while the night shelters are almost finished, the enclosure’s construction has already begun. He went on to say that they hope to have finished the work by the end of December, and the safari would start the first week of January.

After the public safari opens, visitors—both domestic and foreign—will have another location to explore. Those who have already visited this location mentioned how much they would love to return in the near future to view the lions in this park. It’s fantastic news for travelers, and this project will probably boost travel to this area.

Bengal Safari is the state’s best outdoor zoological park, covering 297 hectares near the Mahayana Wildlife Sanctuary off of NH, in the suburbs of Silurian. At the moment, the park is home to enclosures with fish-eating crocodiles, rhinoceroses, Asiatic black bears, Royal Bengal Tigers, and an outdoor aviary.

It has been a well-known destination for both locals and visitors to the area during the last several years. With the lion safari set to open soon, the park will become even more appealing and provide guests with a rich and varied animal experience.
