Srinagar, Nov. 30: On Thursday, fresh snow fell at popular tourist spots like Gulmarg and Doodhpathri, as rain pounded the lowlands, lowering the temperature.
The Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a news agency, said that Gulmarg and Doodhpatri were among the regions in Kashmir that saw additional snowfall.
Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recorded a minimum temperature of 5.3 degrees Celsius as the nighttime temperature increased throughout the region.
In Pahalgam, the mercury settled at 1.5 degrees Celsius, whereas in Qazigund, it settled at 5.0 degrees.
Data indicates that Gulmarg and Konibal both reported lows of – 1.0 degrees Celsius—(KNO)
The weatherman says that most regions will see mild to moderate rainfall today, and that the middle and upper ranges will see light snowfall.
