We will go for Jorhat, the tea region, after breakfast. Enter a hotel after arrival. You are free to explore Garh Ali, the town of Jorhat’s major business district, in the evening. You have just entered a tiny, crowded, and populous street known locally as Maarwari Gali. This street will take you to a few shops noted for their North-East Indian fabrics and handicrafts. Return to the motel to spend the night.
We’ll take a trip to Sivasagar after breakfast. Sivasagar, the Ahom dynasty’s capital, is located 60 kilometres from Jorhat. We’ll go to the Ahom Kingdom’s ruins here. Before the British took over, the Ahom dynasty governed Assam for 600 years. We’ll stop at the Tai Ahom Museum and the mummy-like Maidams of the Ahom monarchs’ burial grounds at Charaideo. Three more temples, a man-made artificial lake built by Queen Madambika in 1734, the highest Shiv temple in the world, the palaces of Kareng Ghar and Talatal Ghar, and the Gaurisagar Tank are among the remaining remnants of the Ahom Dynasty.Return to Jorhat later in the day. We will first get ready before exploring the surrounding tea gardens. We’ll also go to the D. Slimmon-built Gymkhana club in Jorhat, which was established in 1876. It is well recognised for being a horse racing arena. The club also has a beautiful, 9-hole golf course circuit that is competing to be named the oldest golf course in Asia, earning a spot on the “World Heritage List” ( it is presently considered as the third oldest in the world). The club also provides other amenities like polo, pool, billiards, lawn tennis, a gentleman’s bar, and a movie theatre.

We will travel through Majuli to reach the Kaziranga today. Drive up to the Nimati Ghat, which serves as Majuli’s ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Majuli, the largest River Island in the world and the location of Baishnavite monasteries, after arriving. To go to the historic island, we will take a ferry across the mighty Brahmaputra. When we get there, we’ll go to Satras. We’ll drive to Kaziranga later. Upon arrival, transfer to a wildlife retreat. Spend the night at the resort.
For an elephant excursion into the bush, get up early. You’ll be driven by a member of our staff to the location where you can ride elephants. We’ll be taken through the high grass here. In the meantime, the morning mists will gradually clear, creating an experience that is difficult to forget. The ideal way to watch wildlife is on an elephant safari because elephants are not feared by wild creatures, allowing for up-close observation.Breakfast at the resort should be taken. We will embark on a jeep safari in the national park after breakfast to see the wildlife in the central area.Return later to the resort for lunch and some downtime. After lunch, we’ll embark on our second jeep safari of the day, visiting the national park’s Western region. The Donga view point, located in the western zone, is another place where one can pass some time.

After breakfast, we will board our jeep and travel to Kaziranga National Park’s Central range. After lunch, go back to the resort. After that, we’ll travel to the Burapahar range for a birding excursion. After dinner and before retiring for the night, return to the resort.
You are free to choose between visiting the adjacent rubber plantation or taking a leisurely stroll along the river bank in the morning. Then, drive to Tezpur after breakfast. We will travel for Guwahati after breakfast. Enter a hotel after arrival. We’ll take a local sightseeing trip and stop by the well-known Kamakhya Devi temple in the late afternoon.
