Relish a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel in Gulmarg and then it is time to hit the road again to the rustic town of Pahalgam. While moving through the countryside, you pass through Pampore, Avantipore and Bijbehara. Once you exit the national highway at Khanabal and move towards the south you can explore the streets of Anantnag, the second largest city in the region. The road stretches parallel to the calm Lidder River making the road trip even more picturesque. On reaching Pahalgam, you will go through the formalities of check-in at the designated hotel. After having breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing to explore the beauty of Betaab Valley and Chandanwari. Late afternoon, you will be brought back to Srinagar, where you will be free to relax in the hotel and have a comfortable night’s stay.

After breakfast, an early drive to the beautiful village, Wakha through the most beautiful town of Kargil will be arranged. You also visit Sonamarg and some villages like Baltal and though both are pretty different from each other, both have majestic snow-capped meadows. After crossing Zoji-La Pass which is at 11,500 feet, you are in Drass Valley dotted with traditional mud huts, far-off from the modern world. On arrival after the formalities of passport check you proceed to Kargil for dinner and an overnight stay at the pre-scheduled hotel.

Wake up early for breakfast and then proceed to Leh, which is roughly a 5 to 6 hours drive away. On your way, stop by the Lamayuru Monastery and be enthralled by the centuries-old structure of this spiritual shrine. Continue your journey to explore Alchi, Sangam (confluence of Indus –Zanskar) river, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib and the famous ‘Magnetic Hill’. Upon reaching Leh by evening, check into your hotel for the overnight stay and prepare yourself for activities planned for the next day.

Proceed to Nubra Valley after early breakfast with a stop at the highest motorable road on the planet – the Khardungla Pass ( perched at 5,602 metres). On arriving at Nubra, do visit the picturesque Hunder of the White Sand Dunes and take a camel ride up and down the dunes (at your own cost). Familiarise yourself with the religious sites by visiting the Hundar and Diskit monasteries if time is available. Overnight at a luxurious camp, where you can take a break and sit back for the day.

The next day, have a good breakfast at the camping site before returning to Leh again passing through the incredibly fantastic Khardungla Pass. The vibrant and colourful Leh Bazaar can be explored on foot which is usually alive in the evening. This is the best time to get to know the culture of the region and buy souvenirs. Take a shower, have dinner and spend the night in the hotel you earlier checked in.

After breakfast, embark on a drive to the stunning Pangong Lake, located on the Indo-China border. Along the way, visit the majestic Shey Palace and Gompa, both steeped in history and culture. Upon arrival at Pangong, check into your camps for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the breathtaking natural beauty of the region.

Following breakfast, return to Leh, retracing your route. On your way, visit the awe-inspiring Thiksey Monastery and the serene Sindhu Ghat, known for its picturesque setting. Arriving back in Leh, you can relax at your hotel or enjoy some individual activities.
