Before travelling to some of the world’s highest inhabited areas, savour a substantial breakfast.
The first place you’ll go is Komik, which means “eye of a snow cock” and is the highest village in Asia.
After that, you’ll travel to Hikkim to visit the world’s tallest post office. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet the postmaster and hear some of his tales.
You will be travelling to Langza, a community that is home to the historic Lang Temple, which is thought to be about 1000 years old, after mailing a postcard.
After that, you’ll make your way back to Kaza for lunch.
next make your way to the renowned Ki Monastery, which is situated in a bowl-shaped valley between two mountains.
After that, you’ll travel further up the valley to the charming village of Kibber to admire the vast vistas of gorgeous scenery and the indescribable splendour of the snow-capped mountains.
Drive to the Chicham Bridge as well; it is Asia’s tallest suspended bridge and rests majestically atop a gorge that is 1,000 feet deep.
You will travel farther up the road from Kibber to the remote town of Gette, where you can attach a prayer flag and take in breathtaking aerial views of Kaza.
You’ll take a car ride back to Kaza later in the evening to spend the night there.
