Day 1 – Arrival in Manali

Early in the morning, arrive in Manali, and meet a representative who will assist with your hassle-free transfer to the hotel.

When you arrive at the hotel, check in and then have a filling breakfast.
After a short period of recuperation, it’s time to travel to Manali for some local sightseeing.

You will see the well-known Hadimba temple, Buddhist temple, Clubhouse, Siyali Mahadev, Van Vihar, and Old Manali as part of your sightseeing, which will begin with great enthusiasm.

Additionally, you will be able to take numerous photos to save priceless memories.

Remain overnight at the Manali hotel by returning there.

Day 2 – Manali to Kaza via Kunzum Pass

You will set out from Manali in the direction of Kaza after breakfast.

You will drive into the breathtaking brown-badland terrain as you approach Chatru and Batal after passing through the well-known Atal Tunnel.

You will experience your first chill at the 14,931-foot Kunzum Pass before descending into Losar Village, the first village in the Spiti valley.

Stop by Losar for a quick break and a hot beverage along with some munchies.

You will continue driving through the breathtaking landscapes after warming up with a cup of tea to arrive at Kaza.

In Kaza, you will spend the night at a nice hotel.

Day 3 – Sightseeing in Kaza

Before travelling to some of the world’s highest inhabited areas, savour a substantial breakfast.

The first place you’ll go is Komik, which means “eye of a snow cock” and is the highest village in Asia.

After that, you’ll travel to Hikkim to visit the world’s tallest post office. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet the postmaster and hear some of his tales.

You will be travelling to Langza, a community that is home to the historic Lang Temple, which is thought to be about 1000 years old, after mailing a postcard.

After that, you’ll make your way back to Kaza for lunch.

Then you will be moving in the direction of the renowned Ki Monastery, which is located in the little village of Langza in the Spiti Valley, tucked away between the mountains in a bowl-shaped valley.

After that, you’ll travel further up the valley to the charming village of Kibber to admire the vast vistas of gorgeous scenery and the indescribable splendour of the snow-capped mountains.

You will travel farther up the road from Kibber to the remote town of Gette, where you can attach a prayer flag and take in breathtaking aerial views of Kaza.

You’ll take a car ride back to Kaza later in the evening to spend the night there.

Day 4 – Excursion to Tabo with Dhankar and Pin Valley

Breakfast first thing in the morning, then start travelling to Tabo.

Visit the 1020-year-old Tabo Monastery at Tabo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is renowned for its ancient paintings that combine Kashmiri, Indian, and western Tibetan styles.

You will return to Tabo after spending a few hours there, retrace your steps for about 25 miles, and then turn right to head for the little hamlet of Dhankar, which is positioned high above the junction of the Spiti and Pin Rivers.

If you have the time, climb an hour above the settlement to the gorgeous turquoise Dhankar Tso or Dhankar Lake to take in the breathtaking views of the valley.

After that, you will travel to the lovely Pin Valley, which is home to a national park with a variety of unusual plants, animals, and birds as well as a river that gushes when it isn’t frozen.

The Kungri Monastery will be your first stop, followed by the lovely Mudh hamlet, the last motorable community in the Pin Valley.

As you go through the stunning Pin Valley, birds like the pika, griffon, golden eagle, bearded vulture, Chukor, and Raven will be painting the skies with lovely scenes.

After that, you’ll make the evening trip back to Kaza to spend the night there.

Day 5 – Kaza to Chandratal Lake via Kunzum La

Start your journey back home after a leisurely breakfast in the early morning and retrace your ways along the Kaza-Manali road.

You will, however, divert to Chandratal Lake, another marvel of Scotland, on the way home.

With the magnificent Chandra Bhaga mountain range serving as its dramatic backdrop, the mystical and lovely Chandratal Lake continuously changes throughout the day.

After photographing the stunning Chandratal Lake’s hues, you will travel to your campground where you may eat a nice meal while gazing up at the night sky.

Spend the night at the campgrounds beside Chandratal Lake.

Day 6 _ Chandratal Lake to Manali via Rohtang

You will retrace your ways back towards Manali after having seen the breathtaking Chandratal Lake in your minds and on camera.

To get to Manali, you must go over the recently constructed Atal Tunnel.

Once there, you can choose to browse the marketplaces and buy souvenirs.

You’ll travel to Manali Bus Stand later in the day to catch a bus to Delhi.

Your Spiti excursion ends once you arrive in Delhi in the evening.
