The best time to visit North Sikkim is from April to June and from September to November. During these times, the weather is favourable and the region is accessible to visitors, with moderate temperatures and beautiful blooms in the spring and early summer.
Previously known as the North District, it is the most beautiful and largest district in Sikkim. North provides an amazing experience for those who enjoy nature and mountain beauty. Yumthang alone is enough to satisfy the most discerning, with its breathtaking Valley of Flowers.
The greatest time to visit Sikkim to see snowfall is between late November and February, during the winter season. Gangtok, Yumthang Valley, Lachung, and Pelling are among the regions in Sikkim where snowfall occurs during these months, with temperatures ranging from -5 to 7 degrees Celsius.
